Effective 23 August 2026 · Applies to the OhmWorks mobile app and web app
OhmWorks is a free reference calculator tool for electrical cable sizing, voltage drop, PV/solar DC cable sizing, and earthing/grounding, covering the Philippine Electrical Code, AS/NZS Standards, and the NEC. It is provided as-is, free of charge, for informational and productivity purposes.
OhmWorks is a reference and productivity aid — it is not a substitute for professional engineering judgment, a licensed electrician's assessment, or formal code compliance verification. Some reference tables in the app are drawn directly from cited code editions; others are explicitly labeled as placeholder or estimated values pending verification. We make no warranty, express or implied, that any calculation, table value, or recommendation in the app is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific installation.
Before relying on any result from OhmWorks for a real installation, permit application, or safety-critical decision, you are responsible for independently verifying it against the current official edition of the applicable electrical code, applicable local amendments, and your own professional judgment or a qualified licensed professional's review.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OhmWorks and its developer are not liable for any damages, losses, injury, or costs arising from reliance on the app's calculations, data, or recommendations, including but not limited to installation errors, code violations, property damage, or personal injury.
Use OhmWorks for its intended purpose — electrical reference calculations. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or misrepresent the app or its data as an official publication of any standards body (PEC/IIEE, Standards Australia, or NFPA/NEC).
The web version of OhmWorks may display third-party advertising to help cover hosting costs. See the Privacy Policy for details on how that works.
